Getting a ticket is necessary.
meet jako brno goes beyond casual socialising. Connect, share and shape life in Brno!
Lively international community evenings that bring together internationals and Czechs living in Brno. In a moderated space designed for conversation and collaboration, you'll get to listen to short (3-min) talks introducing leisure and sports clubs, service providers, community personalities, updates from public institutions, etc.
What is meet jako brno?
Why join?
Whether you’re looking for practical tips, cultural insights or new friends, this is where orientation meets exchange - helping you find answers, build contacts and truly feel at home.
Who is it for?
Internationals living in Brno (newcomers and old hands both) + curious Czechs who care about Brno’s multicultural spirit.
Would you like to be a speaker?
We welcome organisations and service providers working with or for the international community, and city and regional authorities committed to inclusion and talent retention. If you’re shaping Brno’s future or simply want to be part of its vibrant international scene, this is where you belong. Start by contacting us.
Our inspiration:
Brno Expat Fair
We love organising the Brno Expat Fair, but it's only once a year, and massive.
meet jako brno delivers some of what the expat fair offers, but in a series of regular, shorter and digestible evenings.
Velvet Innovation Meetups
Organised by the South-Moravia Innovation Centre, these monthly meetups support a vibrant community of entrepreneurs, investors and innovators. Just as we want to support the international community in #Brnoregion.
Past line-ups
Before we reveal the speakers for our November meetup, browse through the gallery of past brave faces who shared their passion / project / expertise with the community.
BRNO CITY
The biggest challenges facing cities today and how to plan in a time of rapid change
ART
Fostering an artistic community through a magazine called 'Thus Spoke' where speakers from every language are welcome to submit their literary work.
